Welcome back...I’m glad that I didn’t scare you away with the spooky projects I posted yesterday, and today is not for the faint of heart, as I, along with several of my fellow Design Team members, share the last two sets from this release...which happens to be tomorrow!
Today we are highlighting projects made with Spooky Tree and Vintage Witch. So let’s get to it, shall we?
My first project sports a spook tree with the full moon rising over the graveyard. I used an ancient (not really ancient, but probably one of the oldest patterned paper I own) piece of patterned paper and using white craft paint, I applied the paint in a circle and let that dry. Then I stamped the Spooky Tree image letting the branches extend in front of the moon. I die cut a couple of flourish corners and attached them to the top corners.
I used my Silhouette and die cut the tombstone from gray cardstock and then stamped the flourish image from the All Hallow’s Eve set, along with the sentiment. I added some black ink edging around the tombstone to give it an aged look. I finished off my card with some black silk ribbon and fashioned a bow.
My next project features the Vintage Witch set, which contains this very haunting witch flying across the sky on her broom. I layered my focal image onto a piece of crackle vellum – the same crackle vellum that covered that lower portion of the patterned paper that’s mounted on my card base. I did some wonky stitching around the base.
The interior of my card contains a fun verse that fits this image perfectly.
That brings my post for today to a close, but don’t despair – these Design Team Members have more inspiration for your viewing pleasure:
Until next time...
Live each day with PURPOSE!
