Two Hearts as One

Hello bloggers! I have an anniversary card to share with you today. A friend of mine has an anniversary coming up so I wanted to make a card to send to her and her husband, so this is what I came up with.

I dug around in my old Papertrey Ink sets and found my Heart Prints set. I first selected my patterned paper from my stash, which I’ve had so long, I’ve misplaced the manufacturer’s name, so please forgive me. I layered the patterned paper onto my black card base.

I selected the hearts from the set that contained the flowers, which I thought closely mimicked the patterned paper. I stamped them in red onto white cardstock and cut out the smaller heart and layered it on top of the larger one. I layered the white heart onto a black heart that I cut with my Cameo.  I added a single bit of heart shaped bling, just for fun.

The bottom trim is felt flower ribbon and I added more heart-shaped crystals to the center of each flower. I’m not sure why I just told you what you can obviously see, but there is it. LOL

I also created a lining for my envelope to match the card, since I’m sending it in the mail...because presentation is 9/10th of the effect, right?

I’m happy you popped in today, as I am every time I post. Until next time, have a great life!

Live each day with PURPOSE!

So pretty Lynn! I have that PT set! I will have to pull it out and use it (seems like I only think to use it on Valentine's Day!). I also love the trim you added, it is a perfect touch!
