Hello crafty people. Today is the final day of the Stampendous New Release festivities, but we are getting the party started right now. I’ve changed gear (and seasons) for today’s project as I share with you a cute little Special Delivery image brought to you by the creative folks at Stampendous.
This adorable vintage reindeer (Cling Special Delivery) is sure to deliver a smile as well as grand holiday wishes.
I started with a green card base and rounded the corners with my corner chompers. I also trimmed my ivory cardstock the same way and stamped the image from the Jumbo Snow set, using green ink. Yes, I realize snowflakes aren’t green, but that’s the great thing about being creative…you can make things ANY color you like, and when I created this card, I LIKED green. =)
The Green Glass Glitter around the edges was adhered by laying down some 1/8” Scor-Tape and then sprinkled on the glitter. I gently pressed the glitter into the tape, being careful, because Glass Glitter is actually made from glass, and can cut if one is too enthusiastic about pressing it in.
My special delivery envelope was cut using an old envelope template I have and I placed it to sit behind the little reindeer.
It’s difficult to see, but his red nose is actually Liquid Pearls that adds some nice dimension to it with a touch of shine – the kind of shine even Rudolph would be proud to sport. =)
