Hello crafty people. Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of a brand new set from Stampendous called Wonderland (SSC135). This set is one of the new sets that will be revealed at CHA at the end of January. It’s such a great vintage style and I couldn’t resist using this lovely Alice image.
I started out with a Razzelberry Dark cardstock by Bazzill for my base and layered on white and Mauve Ice before I added the paper doily. I die cut the mat that Alice is stamped on using my Grand Labels 4 die by Spellbinders and while the white cardstock was still in the die, I sponged some Spun Sugar ink around the edges before stamping Alice. I colored her with Copic Markers.
I used the same die cutting-sponging technique for the sentiment which was die cut from the standard Labels 4 Nestabilities.
Behind my sentiment I layered ribbon and some flowers by Zva Creative on top of a metal filigree piece that I had in my stash. It matched well with the heart brads I used along the top. I was pleased with how the card turned out.
BLOG CANDY ANNOUNCEMENT: In Monday’s post I offered some Blog Candy in celebration of my birthday. I just loved reading the responses that were posted about your favorite birthday memories. It’s great to have those memories, and even better when you can share them. Thanks so much for all who posted…I had the best time reading them. So now I’d like to announce the winner of the blog candy I offered. I used the random.org thingy and came up with the winner. Drumroll please……
Congratulations to StampnInkLady a/k/a Lori Reinholz
Thanks Lori for taking part in my own birthday celebration. Pop me an e-mail (follow the instructions to contact me in the side bar of my blog) and send me your snail mail address and I’ll get your goodies into the mail to you.
And thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I hope you have a wonderful weekend…I’m on my way to a brunch this morning with some of my sorority sisters. FUN! Until next time, stay crafty.

This is lovely, Lynn! Great stamp, and beautiful job working with it! Love the sentiment treatment! Do you know if those grand nestabilities will fit in a cuttlebug?
This is gorgeous Lynn!!!!
Richard - only the smallest of the Grands will fit in a cuttlebug. The larger dies in this set are too large and better suited for the Grand Calibur machines (from Spellbinders). Thanks for you comment!
absolutely gorgeous lynn!!!
This card rocks....can't wait to check out the new stamps at CHA!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the colours, the pretty doily, the accent hearts - it's fabulous!
What a fabulous vintage style card, I love the image, and the checkered ribbon, it's just beautiful.
