If this is your first experience with the Waltzingmouse Stamps SOAP (Stamp of Approval Parade), then you are in for a treat. Several times a year the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team revisit some of our favorite stamp sets. For the November SOAP we are revisiting our favorite Christmas images…new and old. I hope you will enjoy the holiday inspiration.
My project today begins with a kraft card base and another layer of kraft trimmed a bit smaller than the base. I then stamped several of the Big Blooms Chrysanthemums images using Vintage Cream Pigment Ink to create a background pattern.
My Christmas Tree was self-made by stamping a pattern image from the Half Baked Gingerbread Joy set onto ivory cardstock using an Olive ink from Vivid. Then I first cut a triangular shape for my tree base from the stamped paper. I cut another triangle the same size as the first and divided the cuts, using a pair of pinking scissors. I layered the pieces onto the base using foam dimensional dots. With the addition of some gold cording and some metallic baubles I decorated my tree, trimming it off with some gold glitter by Stampendous.
I stamped a sentiment on a tag and attached it to my green silk ribbon using a mini clothes pin that I painted with gold and embellished with some stickles. Yea! Another Christmas card for my stash.
Won’t you join me and take a look at the wonderful projects that the rest of the design team have to share. They always amaze me with their creative imagination with different ways to use WMS images.
