Hi all. After several days away from my blog, I can now begin to share what has kept me away from the keyboard and held up in my craft space.
Over the next four days, the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team will share projects we have created using any of the many Christmas stamp sets that Waltzingmouse Stamps has in its catalog. There are so many to choose from, as Claire is especially fond of this holiday, as most of us are.
Today I want to share a tag I made for today’s project. I don’t make tags like this to go onto all the gifts I’ll have under the tree, but I reserve these for the most special people in my life.
I began with a tag and covered it with two patterned papers from the Jovial 6X6 Paper Pack by Basic Grey. I then added some self-adhesive ivory lace. I die cut the snowflake once using chipboard and again using some of the patterned paper and layered them together. I then stamped the sweet little tag from the Nutcracker Sweet set and then trimmed it out and affixed it to the snowflake and added it to my tag.
I created a multi-looped bow of black crepe ribbon and added a mulberry flower that I colored to better coordinate with my color scheme.
Using a tag punch, I punched two tags, one of white and another of patterned paper and layered them together to sit on top of my sentiment. I added some faux stitching beneath and around my text to give it just a little something extra.
This tag will make a nice addition to a gift that I’ll give during the holidays. Now, I hope that you will join me in visiting the blogs of these WMS Design Team members who will also provide you will plenty of holiday inspiration. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
