Hey Cute Ghoul–Happy Halloween

Hey all you ghouls and goblins – tonight’s the big night.  Plenty of tricks to be played and treats to be found.  For my very last Halloween card for 2011, I bring you this little witchiepoo from a Halloween set called Halloweenies from Paper Smooches.

Hey-Cute-Ghoul

Using some older papers from the Twilight Collection by Memory Box, I created a back drop for this little witch that I color with Copic Markers and cut out attaching her to the base.

Using a decrepit fence punch from Martha Stewart, I made a little fence from black cardstock and lined the bottom with this fabulous black lace trim by May Arts.

To finish off my card, I lined the inside of the card with another piece of patterned paper and stamped the sentiment and that adorable spider.  I used my Copic Multiliner to draw a little web so that the spider looks to be hanging from the “H”.

I sure hope that you have a wonderful Halloween.  My husband and I have been watching scary movies for the entire month of October.  Some nights we watch classic movies that we tend to watch every year, such as The Shining, Halloween and Friday the 13th, but he always seems to find some really creepy movies that I have never heard of and that makes my skin crawl and sets my nerves on edge.  WHAT FUN.  I love to be “safely” scared.

We will spend the first part of the evening answer the doorbell and handing out candy, but then we will retreat to our home theater, along with a bowl of popcorn and watch one last scary movie of the season.  Happy Halloween everyone – have fun and be safe.

Hey there cute ghoul - how are you? I love your card! Almost too cute to spook though! Thanks for sharing. Loved reading about you and your DH watching scary movies - we love watching them too. We also do the Hallmark channel at Christmas - do you do that? Great feel-good movies, but I hate the commercials :) Have a beautiful week, my friend!
