Hi - thanks to all who participated in the Haunty Hop held last Saturday and especially to all those who left such wonderful comments here on my blog. I love you guys!
The winners from the comments left on the blogs of those playing have been selected. Check out Cyndi's blog post to see if you were MY lucky winner!
You may have noticed my lack of posting to my blog this week, and there are a few reasons. The first being that last Thursday - Saturday, I participated in the Spawn of True Scrap Event, hosted by Lain Ehmann with many instructors a/k/a well known crafty people. It was a wonderful time, even if I did spend WAY too many hours on my seat in front of my laptop. I came away with lots of ideas and inspiration.
Once True Scrap finished, I had a small bout of inspiration overload, and felt that I had to have a day off to process all that I had seen and heard, not to mention getting things done that were sorely neglected during the previous 3 days. Sitting on my rear with my laptop perched on my knees seemed to be a perfect excuse not to do anything. I mean, I DID pay money to be a part of this, right?
Next, we had a death in our family - no one in our immediate family unit, but a well loved, Great Aunt, so that has taken me away from my craft space for a couple of days, and then I'm working on items for the Waltzingmouse Stamp of Approval Parade that begins on the first of November.
Tonight my hubby is taking me to the movies to see a re-release (limited engagement) of the original Ghostbusters. I don't believe that I ever saw that movie on the big screen - only on video, so I'm really looking forward to this evening - again, no crafting. The World Series will just have to go on without me because tonight is the last chance to see this movie in a theater! GO CARDS!
I do plan to "hold up" in my space this weekend (after we decorate the porch for the little goblins that will be visiting on Halloween) so there WILL be crafting done.
Thanks for hanging with me...now, go see if you won that Haunty Hop prize!

You are very deserving of some time off! Glad you enjoyed the time spent on your laptop, and can't wait to see some of what you learned! Enjoy the movie tonight - I loved Ghostbusters! I'll cheer the Redbirds on for you! Hugs...
I clicked off before I was finished - sorry! I'm very sorry to hear about your dear Aunt. We have a dear aunt too, and I know how much you will miss her. Hugs and prayers, my friend.
Sorry to hear about your Great Aunt, Lynn. Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time at True Scrap event, and watching Ghostbusters. That's nice. Have a great day!
