A Haunty Halloween Hop!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SUSANNA’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, SCROLL DOWN.

Hi and welcome to the Blog Hop Friends Haunty Halloween Hop (say that 5 times fast!).   We have lots of spooky fun projects for you today and TONS of prizes up for grabs!  Please leave comments along the way at ALL the hoppers blogs for a better chance to win! Randomly drawn winners will be selected from all the comments left on all the hoppers' blogs!

If you have arrived here from Berenice Rendon's blog, then you are right on track.  If this is your first stop - welcome and for a complete list of those playing along today see the bottom of this post.

Now for my card:  My Haunty Halloween card, uses Stampendous images and stickers.  My cute little candy-munching ghost is called Candy Spook, although I don't think he's very spooky - more of the Casper variety. But it's a great card for someone special without creeping them out.

Ghostly-Treat

I created my background  by applying the Spooky Words stickers, also from Stampendous.  A quick and easy background with no ink! =)

I added a bit of patterned paper to the bottom third of my card and concealed the seam with some great ruffled ribbon and linen thread from my stash.

The sentiment (Real Treat) was stamped using Memento in on the same cardstock for my background and then I torn the image, and inked the edges before placing it on the card.

Ghostly-Treat-CU

I colored my little spook with a combination of Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils (blended with Gamsol).

Are you almost ready for Halloween?  I only have two more cards to make and with the candy jar full and beside the door, I'm ready...that is if I can keep Victor out of the candy between now and the 31st!  HA

Now - onto the next player in the group, Maria Levine. In case you are lost and need to get back on track, here is an entire list of those playing along today.

This is fab Lynn, he is a bit like Caspar the ghost, I remember those comics from my childhood! Very sweet he is too! Love your subtle shading of him, something I find tricky with translucent objects, you've done a great job here!

Happy Halloween Lynn - a little early but I am off on holidays tomorrow :-)

Hope I am not posting this comment twice as I am having trouble leaving comments on LOTS of blogs.
