Waltzingmouse Stamps August 2011 SOAP-Day 4

It’s been quite a week, hasn’t it?  For the past 3 days, the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team has brought you lots of inspiration made from the great stamp sets that Claire released July 1st: Cameo to Go, Cameo Creations, Ovals, Classic Frames, Big Day Essentials, Big Day Additions, Eat Cake, You're Lovely, and Flourishes – Scallops and Dots.  And today we revisit a older favorite set, Afternoon Tea.

For my project today I created a tea bag holder with a special addition on the back.  I found this great tutorial with instructions for this fun little 3D project here.  The template was originally designed as a note pad holder, but I made a couple of minor modification to suit my purpose.

I inserted several tea bags with a belly band stamped from the tea tag image, which looks remarkably like a ticket.  To make my half circle cute on the “ticket”, I just used a 1/4” hole punch and just took a bit off where I wanted.

I stamped the tea pot onto a piece of pink cardstock and attached it to a die cut using the Lacey Circle Nestabilities.  I added a bit of ribbon and a couple of flowers to the edge and added the little tea tag.

We all know that we have things to do. Even while we are taking a break, we are probably thinking about what we SHOULD be doing rather than sitting around enjoy a cup of refreshment.  So, with my project today, while enjoying that cup of tea, there is a note pad handy to jot down all the things needing tending to, AFTER you have your tea.

Now it’s time for you to get your craftiness on as we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition.

Find a card or project from any of the projects posted over the past few days by the WMS Design Team, CASE that project using Waltzingmouse Stamp images, and link it using the Inlinkz on Claire’s blog at At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs.

We hope you will enjoy this competition and that it will inspire your creativity. You have one week to complete and link your project as the competition will close on August 10th at 8:00 AM Claire’s time, which is 3 AM Eastern, 2 AM Central and Midnight, Pacific time. The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on August11th.

If you looking for more inspiration and plenty of projects to CASE, just check out what the rest of the Design Team have to share with you today.  Their projects this week have been amazing.
