Hey there crafty folks. Well, after a very dicey weather weekend, one that resulted in a direct tornado hit to our airport, which is only 5 miles from our home, we survived unscathed. God was watching out for us and graced us with his protection. That makes me smile. Especially when there are many in our area that weren’t so fortunate.
I created this card because I was feeling especially blessed. But at the same time, it will make a great card to send to someone who needs to know how much their relationship means to me.
Using some fun papers from Jillybean Soup, I used a red card base and layered papers before stamping the large sentiment directly onto the paper.
I’m really fortunate that I have reasons to smile EVERYDAY, and even on the days when things don’t go right, I can always think of the special people in my life and it causes me pause – and that makes me smile. I hope you find something EVERYDAY that makes you smile.
Thanks for looking in today.

Hi Lynn!
Oeh, that's a scary idea, I think, those tornado's! I hear on the news that it's very bad this year and that there are so many... Glad to hear all is well with you, the unpredictability of those things must be very scary!
Your card makes the sun shine! Love the bright colors and that sentiment is gorgeous!!
Hugs,
Wendy
I'm so glad you survived the storm and this card is such a great way to celebrate it. Love the bright colours.

That was really close. Glad to hear you are okay.
I love this card! The sentiment is awesome. The colors are FAB!
SOOO beautiful Lynn!
LOVE this card, Lynn. I had to order those papers - that's my style for sure. So glad you were okay in those awful storms. That's a praise indeed.
Just 5 miles from Lambert, you were blessed to avoid damage. That was a scary monster of a storm. I think your card is the perfect cheery way to celebrate your good fortune. Even with all the damage citywide, no one died should be celebrated.
