Waltzingmouse Stamps May Preview 2011–Day 1

Hello crafty people.  The long blog silence is broken as today, and over the next 3 days, as I share with you the projects that have kept me busy and away from posting.

Today is the first day of previews of the newest sets to be released by Waltzingmouse Stamps on May 1st at 1:00 p.m. Central time.  So without further delay, let me introduce you to today’s card, created using Gingham & Co. You won’t have to go hunting for gingham patterned paper any more as this set has several sizes along with a special surprise that will put gingham patterns at your fingertips, in any size and color you might need for any project.

Mom-Gingham

This mother’s day card is done in turquoise – my most favorite shade of blue – and I just love how well all of Claire’s sets work together, as noted in the gingham pennants from the Bitty BannersIt’s a perfect match.  It really shows how much she thinks out her designs so that her customers get the best value for their money.

Mom-Gingham-CU

I also used stamps from other Waltzingmouse Stamps sets to create my sentiment and banner letters to complete this card that I’m sure my mother-in-law will love.

You won’t want to miss the other inspiration that the rest of the Design Team has for you, so be sure to check them out.

Thanks again for stopping by and please come back tomorrow when I’ll have another project showcasing another new set from Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Hi Lynn

It's me again.

Thanks for your comment on my blog concerning my card to the weekly sketch challenge.
I already joined you in the Forum for the monthly Christmas card challenge and actually I'm just thinking about how to make a "snow" card for April.

Kind regards
Carola
