Hallelujah–He is Risen

Hello crafty people.  I know I have been somewhat absent from my blog, and I apologize.  I HAVE been crafting - working up several samples for Stampendous’ new catalog and CHA booth, but I’m unable to share those with you at the moment.

I’ve switched from one project to work on samples for the upcoming Waltzingmouse Stamps previews which will begin next Thursday, the 28th.  Be sure to check out Claire’s blog on Monday for some sneak peeks of the upcoming release.  You are gonna love what is in store, but enough of that for now…I had better hush up before I say too much.

The card I want to share with you today is based on this week’s Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge.  You can see this week’s sketch below:

#44 Sketch

This will be the last Easter card of the season, but I just couldn’t resist making just one more so that I could share with you, especially after seeing this week’s sketch.  I jumped at the chance to ink up my Nestie Eggs set again this year.

#44-Lynn

I hope that you will grab your Waltzingmouse Stamps and stop by the sketch challenge blog to play along.  Each week the top three projects are selected to receive the Top Mouse Awards and one lucky player is randomly selected to receive their choice of Waltzingmouse Stamps set.  I know this is a busy weekend for many of you, but you have until next Friday to link up your project.

Thanks for looking in today, and may your Easter be filled with God’s blessings and lots of chocolate bunnies. =)

What a beautiful card, Lynn! I love the gold embossing and the way you layered the egg. The little detail on the bottom with the lace and border is so delicate and stunning. ANNNND you picked the perfect embossing folder, too! Yes, I really love this card :)!

Gorgeous card lynn - I love the look of this sketch and your interpretation is perfect ;)
I had a bunch more Easter card ideas this year that I never got to use. Next year I will make more I think to take advantage of any design surplus (and need for extra bunny cards!) and sell or donate them.
Have a wonderful rest of the Easter weekend, hugs, Ruth S
