Hey all – welcome back. Today is day 3 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps’ Stamp of Approval Parade. The design team has been showcasing projects using the images form Claire’s latest release, and today I have another project using Vintage Banners.
My birthday card uses one of the pennant images turned upside down and turned into a party hat.
I stamped the image onto Ivory paper using Latte ink and then added bits of patterned paper from the Hattie Papers from My Mine’s Eye. I added a bit of pom-pom trim and a few crystals all topped with a tassel I fashioned from embroidery thread.
- A happy sentiment in the heart of a blossom complete this birthday greeting.
- So off you go now to see what other creative project the rest of the Design Team have for you. I’m always amazed at the wonderful projects that the team comes up with…I’m sure you will be too!

Lynn, I don't leave comments as often as I should because (1) I'm a lazy bum; (2) Feedblitz sends me one email with a gazillion blogs. But today I am overwhelmed with admiration -- enough to overcome both of those impediments! I lOVE this card! It is so cute -- and so appropriate for a young man! But I especially love how you used the banner! Thanks for sharing your talents every day!
