April 2011 WMS Stamp of Approval Parade Day 3

Hey all – welcome back.  Today is day 3 of the Waltzingmouse StampsStamp of Approval Parade.  The design team has been showcasing projects using the images form Claire’s latest release, and today I have another project using Vintage Banners.

My birthday card uses one of the pennant images turned upside down and turned into a party hat.

Vintage-Banners-Full

I stamped the image onto Ivory paper using Latte ink and then added bits of patterned paper from the Hattie Papers from My Mine’s Eye.  I added a bit of pom-pom trim and a few crystals all topped with a tassel I fashioned from embroidery thread.

It’s so fabulous that you stopped by today.  I hope you will come back tomorrow for our last day of the WMS S.O.A.P.

Lynn, I don't leave comments as often as I should because (1) I'm a lazy bum; (2) Feedblitz sends me one email with a gazillion blogs. But today I am overwhelmed with admiration -- enough to overcome both of those impediments! I lOVE this card! It is so cute -- and so appropriate for a young man! But I especially love how you used the banner! Thanks for sharing your talents every day!
