Partly Cloudy–No Rain

Hi crafty people.  Well, we made it.  We got through the weekend without rain – Yeah!  After the warmer weather we had last week, the mounds of snow piled around town are virtually all gone.  With melted snow comes soggy grounds, so the last thing we needed was rain.

Even if it did rain, gray skies can’t hide the sun in my heart…which brings me to my project for today.

Sun-in-my-Heart

I used some Fawn Lawn images for this reminder to “keep the sun in your heart”.  We may have days when the clouds surround us, but that doesn’t mean that we need to walk around all gloomy.  We have the choice of how we react to the rain.  We can either hide inside, staying dry, but also missing the freshness of the air right after the downpour.  Instead, we can pull out that umbrella and head on out into the world, knowing that soon we’ll be able to put away the umbrella and enjoy the sunshine when the clouds part.

Sun-in-my-HeartCU

I die cut my clouds and popped them up with foam dimensionals.  A simple card with an important message.  Don’t let the clouds get the best of you – keep the sun in your heart.

Have a wonderfully sun-shiny day!

A beautiful card to look at, and a great sentiment to consider - who could ask for more?

This is so beautiful-and seems so apt for our family's current situation--loss of our nephew last week. TFS!

Your Card is Beautiful Lynn!
I just love the dimension that you gave it! It should be framed, and hung on the wall!
We had rain and hail this past weekend, and it was wonderful! Of course we needed it and have more coming this weekend. But when everyone is safe and sound inside and all gathered in the family room it is a wonderful feeling! :)

Thank you for sharing!
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings,
Mary

Beautiful card & great message, Lynn! I have such a hard time making cards with my Kioshi papers. Oh and it's been sweltering hot here lately - I'll take rain or cool weather instead, lol.

Hi Lynn,

Love what you wrote! And it's so true! If we let the clouds cloud our happy vision, then there will be no fun and pleasure, while it's always around us, you just have to keep your eyes open and this happy card helps! It's so much fun, love it!!! Thanks for making and sharing and hope you stay dry!

Hugs, Wendy

Gorgeous card, love the sentiment, we certainly need that optimism here as it's been raining all week!
