I’m so happy to join in the celebration of the BIRTHDAY for Claire Brennan – owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps. I, along with many of her Design Team, Mischief Makers (the Sketch Challenge team) and other friends of Claire join in to wish her a very happy birthday.
Last year at this time, I was in Southern California attending CHA. You may remember some of these pictures taken while I was there in this post from last year.
Today, I’m at home in St. Louis, but still wishing Claire a very happy birthday by participating in this special birthday hop. In the event that you get lost along the way, you can always refer back to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog for links to all those playing along today! Perhaps you just came from the blog of Mona Pendleton, in which case you are right on track.
I’ve created a card full of whimsy with my happy circles, curves and bling. With a card base of a burgundy color, I added patterned paper from the So Sophie line from My Mind’s Eye in the layered double curvy line, the circle, and the sentiment, which is from the Waltzingmouse Stamps’ Fancy Phrases and Vintage Labels 3 sets.
I stamped Claire’s name from the Victorian Alphabet set and cut out each letter and then attaching them with foam dimension adhesive so they really stand out. I added a little bling, a button and ribbon all adorned with a Jillibeann Soup stick pin.
This card will be going into the mail today, and I hope that Claire won’t mind that it’s late in arriving. I hope that she has a lovely day and that she knows how very special she is to all of us.
Now, if you are ready, please pop on over to Carly Robertson’s blog to continue on with the celebration. Thanks for stopping in today and for joining me in celebrating the wonderful person that IS Claire!
