Hi there crafty people. After a short hiatus over the holidays, the Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz is back and we are full of love. The theme this month is love…and rightly so with Valentine’s Day less than a month away. It’s time to get busy creating those cards that put Hallmark to shame.
My card struts a flying heart from WMS’ Sweethearts set. I stamped the image then immediately poured clear embossing powder atop and set. Behind the heart I painted a set of Grungeboard wings and after they were dry, I applied a layer of Glossy Accents and added chunky glitter.
The circle mat was die cut using my Nestabilities which was placed on some wonderful patterned paper from Echo Park. The sentiment, from the same Sweethearts set was stamped in black and matted on black cardstock before layered on some polka dot ribbon.
For dramatic effect, I added circles of Zva Creative Bling around the focal images and along the bottom of my sentiment.
Take a careful look at my first image, and the images of all the WMS Design Team Members because hidden in each one are a number of special watermark images – this month it is the letter “E”. Once again, we will be playing the watermark search game! All you have to do for a chance to win is count up the number of hidden watermarks in the photo(s) of Claire's and each design team member's blog waltz card/project (if any) and enter your count in the special chat thread. One name will be drawn from all correct answers to win a stamp set of choice!
If you are further inclined to get your fill of even more love inspiration, be sure to check out this thread where all the “friends” of Waltzingmouse Stamps that are participating in the blog waltz will have a link to their projects.
I’m happy you decided to pop in today. I hope you are too!
