Waltzingmouse Stamps September Preview – Day 3

Hi crafty people or should I say, "Ahoy matey"?  Welcome back to another preview of a project made from new sets from Claire and Waltzingmouse Stamps.  There will be a total of 5 new sets available in the store on Sunday, September 12th.

Today, I'm excited to share a little card I made using Half Pint Heros.  The pieces are interchangeable making it a breeze to put a project together that is JUST RIGHT for your purpose.

I couldn't help but hum the tune to Yellow Submarine as I put this card together.  What fun I had getting lost in the adventure of putting the pieces of this card together.  I used the Boundary Waters punch to create layers of waves on which I adhered my little sailor boy.  I added Glossy Accents to the portholes and fish bubbles to add even more dimension.

Yellow-Submarine-CU

The clouds were hand-drawn on vellum and cut out, and adhered using foam dimensional tape.  To finish off my card, I created a banner which holds the sentiment for this project. I attached the pennants to a piece of twine and left them unattached to the card so that they can move freely.
