Life is TRULY Beautiful

Hi crafty people!  Yes, life is truly beautiful, even on the day back to work after a 3 day weekend.  After spending a wonderful weekend with my husband, I’m renewed and refreshed and ready for the week. We spent a few hours at the Botanical Gardens yesterday enjoying the Japanese Festival along with what seemed to be half of St. Louis.  We hit the Garden as soon as it opened, hoping to enjoy the cooler morning temperatures and were amazed that the number of others who had the same idea.

Yes, it was a wonderful day.  Along my way to work and home again, day after day, surrounded by concrete, stop signs and traffic, I tend  to forget how outstanding our world is and the fact that beauty is everywhere if you look at it through the eyes of wonder.

I do have a crafty project to share with you as well, that fits nicely with the theme of this post.  I created it for the Paper Craft Planet Sketch Challenge this week, which is hosted by Susanna Boyd.  I hope you are inspired to play along.  The sketch certainly inspired me!

Great card, and I love the photos from the gardens. I haven't been there in a long time. Maybe we should try to get there this fall! :-)
