Gina K Designs September 2010 Preview – Day Two

Hello crafty people!  Welcome back to day two of the Gina K Designs’ previews.  I hope you are enjoying the previews so far.  Today, I’d like to share with you a project that I made using Theresa’s Fanciful Fall.  This set is filled with wonderfully creative images just ripe for the pickin’ for your autumn projects.

Autumn-Blessings I chose rich fall colors for this project.  I used a shadow technique to create the dimension on the tree image that I layered on mats of Chocolate Brown, Sweet Mango and Pumpkin Spice.

Autumn-BlessingsCU

To add some pop to the pumpkin on my sentiment, I added a few glittery touches by brushing on some Perfect Pearls.

The entire team would like to cordially invite each of you to The Gina K Designs’ release party this Thursday night, September 30.  We'll have contest questions, challenges, chatter, and lots of samples with the new stamp sets to share during the party. Please make plans to join us from 7-10 central on StampTV!  I hope to see you there.

This is super cool Lynn, love the 3-dimensional looking tree. Is it really 3-d or stamped to appear so?

Lynn! I love how you shadowed that tree! It's perfect - I've got to do that sometime but I doubt I'd do as good a job as you did on your gorgeous card!!!

Love all the matting and layering, and the shadowed tree looks fab - thought you had painstakingly cut 2 trees out there for a minute! Beautiful card.
