Zva Creative Design Team Blog Hop for July

Hi everyone.  I hope your summer is going well.  In some areas of my life, time is whizzing by at breakneck speed.  I’ve been busy creating for DT releases and making samples for CHA which is now only days away.  We have already hit the summer solstice which means the days are getting shorter (ick) and while it’s “hotter than July”, summer will be over before you know it and soon the leaves will be falling and the days will get cooler.  But until that happens, I choose to enjoy the sweltering heat and longer days.  Are you ready for some HOT projects?

It’s time for another Zva Creative Design Team Blog Hop.  If you arrived here from Debbie Olsen’s blog, then you are right on track for the Zva Creative Blog Hop.  If this is your first stop, be sure to check in at Kim Hughes' blog where all the activity begins.  She will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in case there is a glitch along the way. For my project today, I was focusing on this beautiful heart from Zva Creative.  Using a piece of white cardstock, in a 5-1/4" square style, I took acrylic paint and "dry brushed" around the four edges to add just a little color.  Then I used my stamp positioning tool to place the Unity sentiment so that it would sit within the blingy heart.

To complete the card I added some eyelet trim and twill along with attaching some of Zva's wonderful flowers.
