Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Release Blog Waltz. Six new sets are now available at Waltzingmouse Stamps, the same six sets that the Design Team has been showing samples of all week. If you came here from Laurie Schmidlin’s blog, then you are right on track. If you happened to land here first, then please pop on over to Claire’s blog where the festivities all begin.
As with all of Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog Waltzes, you have the opportunity to win a stamp set of your choice. Claire will choose from among all the comments left on all the Design Team blogs one lucky winner of the stamp set of their choice. The other winner will be chosen from comments left on her blog. You need not comment on all the Design Team’s blogs to win, but the more you comment, the better your odds. You have until 11:59 pm EASTERN TIME on Saturday, July 3rd to leave your comments. The winners will be announced on the WMS blog on Sunday, July 4th! So, let’s get to it then, shall we?
When I saw this new set from Waltzingmouse Stamps, Rescue Remedies and read the sentiment on this stamp, I knew right away that I MUST do a wine bottle label! It IS the syrup of kindness, is it not? HA! I know that for me, after a glad or two, I get very kind….teeheehee!
Using waterproof labels, I die cut the bottom layer using the Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities, inked with Aged Mahogany and then inked the edges of this label in gold. From there I stamped the top label also on waterproof labels, die cut it with my Nestabilities and then inked with Old Paper Distress ink.
Adorned with flowers purchased at a local Michael’s store, I adhered them to the label using Zip Dry adhesive. I love this adhesive…it sticks well and dried quickly.
Following the directions on the bottom of this label in advised – it says, “Vial should remain uncorked.”…as any good bottle of wine should, because to obtain the most kindness, one should consume the entire bottle. HA!!!
To continue along the Waltz, please visit Belinda Chang Langner’s blog. I’m so happy you stopped by today. Have fun along the Waltz and good luck.
