Thanks a BUNCH!

Today is our monthly challenge day for the i{heart}papers Design Team.  It’s always fun to see what fun challenge our Design Team Challenge Coordinator, Deb Felts, will challenge us to create.  This month, we were given a list of various products that Kate carries in her store and asked to use those products in a project.

My project today is based off a recent sketch from Taylor. I stared with a card base of Rose Red and layered various patterned papers from Greenhouse from K & Company and a panel of Orange Dark Prism paper.  The focal image is from the Unity Stampin’ Store Kit, Adventures in Happiness and the sentiment is from Sweet Affections. I colored the images using Copic markers and framed it with a frame from Artisan Elements. These frames are very unique and I’m having lots of fun playing around with them.  They are soft and “squishy” and can be painted or inked, and the best part is that they are self adhesive, making it simple to apply to any card or scrapbook page. I painted the impressions of the frame with Glimmer Mist.

To add an accent to the frame, I embossed a chipboard butterfly and applies that atop another chipboard butterfly that I had added glitter to…all accented with a few Funky Flowers.
