SCACD Tea Party

Hello and Happy Good Friday to you all.  Today, Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design and Paper Craft Planet’s Super Novas are having a blog hop!  10 of us are hopping along, each creating a project with the SCACD Elizabeth Bell & Victoria Case stamps.

Hope along with us and leave a comment and you could be the winner of one of three generous prizes:  1 sheet of the Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Sampler #3 OR 1 sheet of the Victoria Case for SCACD Hearts and Hugs - Spring Collection (new Release) OR 1 Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Ice White! We've hidden 3 prizes among the Supernova's blogs, but no one knows which ones! Leave a comment on one or all of the Supernova blogs in order to win. The more you comment, the better your chances of winning. Blog comments will be open until Monday at 8am EST. The lucky winners will be announced on the Paper Craft Planet blog on Monday afternoon.  (This contest is open to US residents only.)

My adorable image is one of Elizabeth Bell’s collection, carried by Susana of SCACD.  This image is Dolly and she is just the sweetest thing.  I remember as a little girl that I had my own little porcelain tea set.  I would spend hours making real tea and serving it up to my dolls, and occasionally my good natured mom would join in the fun and actually drink, what had to be, a terrible tea concoction!  But, oh the fun hours of imagination and make believe…

SCACD-040210

I used a white card base and added a piece of black and white polka dot paper.  Stamping my Dolly image onto Pure Luxury cardstock, I colored with Copic Markers and used a nestabilities to die cut the image.SCACD-CU040210

I added a red/white polka dot ribbon and velvet ric rak before adhering two chipboard tags from Making Memories, attached with a brad with a little piece of fiber tied around the brad.

So I hope that you enjoyed my project using an image from Susana’s Custom Card & Art Design.  Be sure to check out the other Supernova’s who are playing along with this hop.

Hi Lyn,
I can remember having tea parties with my dolls, only I used water because I didn't and still don't like tea or coffee - such fun memories. I love your card.
Happy Easter, Anne.

Stunning coloring! I really like how the color pops. I think the little girl's bonnet reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake's when I was growing up!
