Zva Creative DT Blog Hop

Are you ready for a little Zva inspiration?

We, the Zva Creative Design Team are joining together today to share a project that we have created using some of our favorite Zva Creative Projects.  I hope that you will take a few minutes to join us for some fun!

The Hop begins at Kim Hughes’ blog.  She is linking to me, and I will link to the next team members and so on.  With 12 Zva designers, you are sure to find awesome inspiration.  Hidden on five of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package consisting of the latest CHA release!  Those blogs will be randomly chosen once the hop is over, so if you would like to increase your odds of winning, you may want to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

For my project, I have a done a scrapbook page.  Yes, I know – don’t faint.  I haven’t done much scrapbooking in the past 4 years, but I really want to do a better job of feeding this craft vacancy, so with that I bring you a 8 X 8 page that I created featuring a picture of my daughter and me. 

My daughter lives in another state and I’m sad that I don’t get to see her very often.  When we do get a chance to spend a little time together, I just want to hold on tight; to the moment in time, to those special memories, and to my little girl, who isn’t a little girl any longer, but ask any mother, and their kids will always be their little babies, even when they are grown adults.

I’m lucky enough to be able to use some of my favorite Zva Creative items; flowers and flourishes.

The lovely Zva Creative silk flowers (FL01CG111) are gorgeous and come in such a great variety of colors that I’m always able to find exactly what I need for any project. 

The other favorite Zva Creative product that I find that I use most are the flourishes; whether they be pearl or crystals, I just love their free-flowing design and their versatility. This particular Green Flourish (PE-02CB-148) is very versatile because you can use the entire flourish, as I have done here, just a piece of an entire flourish, or even single pearls from the piece.  I have used all three in projects before.  If I use only a piece of a complete flourish, I will often just snip the individual pearls from what is left and use them as other embellishments on various different project.  Whether in a whole piece, or singly cut, each pearl sticks wonderfully.
