There’s No Tomorrow

We don’t live forever.  It’s unfortunate but true and this fact becomes more and more apparent to as I see loved ones passing from this life into another reality.  With all that is wrong with this world and the sadness it contains, it’s still a wonderful world. The joys found in the little things are what make this life worth living.  That is why this verse that I used on my card today makes so much sense to me.

This card was created for today’s Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge.  This sketch is the one that Taylor designed for us to use today.

TESC106

I chose this set mainly because of the verse – live like there is no tomorrow.  These are words to live by because we are NOT guaranteed tomorrow.  We only have today; here and now.  This day, this hour, this moment is the most important time to live life to the fullest.  Don’t let the moment pass you by because you may not have another opportunity to see, taste, smell or love life’s goodness.

TESC106-No-Tomorrow

Using supplies from my March Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient kit I created my card.  The floral image is from the Clear & Simple set, Life Life and stamped onto Confetti White using brown ink.  I then stamped the image again using turquoise craft ink and embossed the image, then cut out the blooms and attached them to the first image using teeny pop dots.TESC106-No-TomorrowCU

I added a little butterfly from the March TEKI kit attached with a pop glue dot.  I chose to use a butterfly embellishment to continue the theme of this card – the fleeting moments and the precious beauty that life holds…the beauty of it all is too short lived, just like the butterflies that appear in the spring and summer.

Fridays are Sketch Challenge days at the Taylored Expressions Blog and we'd love to have you play along!  Every so often Taylor will have a fun added BONUS to playing the weekly TESC... PRIZES!  You never know what week Taylor might offer a prize so be sure to check her blog every Friday for the sketch.  Prizes will be given to Taylor's Top Crops.  Today is one of those days as Taylor is offering BONUS PRIZES for TESC106.  You'll have through April 2nd to play along and enter your card for a chance to win your choice of FREE STAMP SET from the Taylored Expressions Store.  Winners will be announced on April 5th.

You do not have to use TE stamps to enter (but of course we love it when you do *wink*.) Get all the details to play on Taylor's blog

Gosh, this is gorgeous! And I agree with the sentiment. Too often, we forgot to do just that.
