Waltzingmouse Stamps Customer Blog Hop

Hi!  I’m happy you stopped by today because I have a special treat.  If you are just now stopping in, you have stumbled on the very first Waltzingmouse Stamps Customer Blog hop. Perhaps you landed here from Heidi Schmidbauer’s blog.  Regardless of how you got here, before you go much further, I hope you will pop over to Claire’s blog because I don’t think that you wouldn want to miss any of the wonderful creations that are sure to be posted along the way.

The theme of the blog hop was Spring and the only requirement was that we feature one of Waltzingmouse Stamps’ sets.  I’m set to go on both accounts.  Not only am I so very ready for spring, but I just received my Lil Buddies set and wanted to ink it up.

I combined two sets for this hop – Very Vintage Labels 5 and Lil Buddies.  I really wanted to use the bird cage die cut from my Songbird Cricut cartridge, so I thought it made a fun mat for this “tweet” little bird.

With a card base of Choice Buttercream, I layered a panel of Island Mist Light before adding some awesome papers from the Jocelyn collection from SEI.  The panel made from the Very Vintage Labels 5 image was stamped with Metallic Pigment ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The sentiment was attached to another die cut, this time of a small birdhouse cut from the same Cricut cartridge. Accented with two small buttons and finished off with a crocheted flower I think this card is just right for spring.
