TESC 100! Let’s Celebrate

Today is a very special Taylored Expression Sketch Challenge Friday.  Today marks the 100th sketch that Taylor has created.  What a special day this is for a couple of reasons.  First – celebrating 100 of anything is always a special occasion, wouldn’t you agree?  We are also welcoming a new crew member to our sketch crew.  The sweet and wonderfully talented Lori Craig will join us each week to add her inspirational creativity working with Taylor’s sketches.  So without further ado, here is Taylor’s centurion sketch.

TESC100 sketch

Using Taylor’s sketch, I crafting my project taking just a wee bit of creative license.  I stamped by background of clouds using a Hero Arts background stamp, and the using two images from Waltzingmouse Stamps’ Spring Baskets, I created the flower images in the urn which I colored with Copic Markers.  To add a little dimension I attached tiny half pearls from Zva Creative around each petal.

To make today a special celebration, Taylor is giving away a $25 gift certificate to one random winner chosen from among all those who help us spread the word about the Sketch Celebration by posting the badge on their blog. To get your very own badge for your blog, pop on over to Taylor’s Blog to get the code for the badge.

But that’s not all Taylor is also giving away a $25 gift certificate to the Top 5 creations using Sketch 100 (judged by the TESC Crew). You may enter as many times as you like, but each creation must be linked separately in Mr. Linky.

I hope you want to play along…there could be a prize in your future if you do. You have until next Friday, February 19 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time to link up your project to be eligible for the contest.  If you need a little inspiration, make sure and stop by the rest of the Sketch Crews blogs to see their most adorable creations.

It's always fun to check out the various interpretation of the sketch by other members of the TE Sketch Crew because they each have their own style that they bring every week to their creations. I hope you will take a moment and stop by and see what they have posted to inspire you:

and don't forget Taylor!

I’m looking forward to a 3-day weekend, even though we don’t have anything out of the ordinary planned.  It’s always a special treat when I get an additional day off of work.  I’m hoping the weather cooperates, but even if it doesn’t, I don’t have any place I HAVE to be, so it’s all good.  I appreciate you stopping by today – it’s always a treat for me to have you visit.  Until tomorrow, have yourself one fantastic day!
