Today, I’m happy to be the Saturday Sketch Challenge hostess on Paper Craft Planet. I’d be thrilled if you wanted to join me and play along if/when you have a chance.
Using this sketch as the building block for my sample card, I began with a base of cardstock and layering a coordinating panel atop the base. Then a panel of wonderfully whimsical paper from My Mind’s Eye’s Be Loved. I stamped this fun heart petal flower from the Say it with Style set from Waltzingmouse Stamp onto cream cardstock and shading with Copic markers. I did the same with the smaller petal flower and adhered it onto the larger one using a pop dot.
The sentiment from the same stamp set is done in such a romantic font and goes along perfectly with this term of endearment.
I added a double layer of looped satin and brocade ribbon along the bottom topped with a flourish flowing toward the grungeboard heart colored with the same ink I used on the flower. The darker shade of the heart compared to the flower is due to the absorbing of the ink by the grungeboard.
Thanks for looking in today and I hope to see your over on Paper Craft Planet in the Sketch Group. CLICK HERE to be directed to this group.
Have a tremendously blessed day.
