One Hoppin’ Week

Hi and welcome to the 3rd Blog Hop that I have participated in this week…it’s surely been one hoppin’ week!  We all know that good things come in threes, so let’s get to it!

Do you have a Happy Heart?  If you don't, you surely will after checking out tonight's Gina K Design Happy Hearts Blog Hop.  This fun heart-filled set from Tami Mayberry works so wonderfully with cardmaking as well ascrapbooking.  With a variety of heart designs and shapes, this set is also filled with words that literally contain HUNDREDS of possible combinations to convey what's on YOUR heart.

The card I created for this hop is called a Tri-Fold Triangle Front Card designed by Penny Wessenauer.  Penny has allowed me to link to her template if you are interested in creating a card using this same design.

Using a base of Innocent Pink and some designer paper from S.E.I, I punched 4 base hearts and pierced the design in each one.  Then using the smaller heart stamp images in the set, I stamped the images onto the brown paper using Versamark ink and dusted with white Perfect Pearls before punching out.  I adhered them to the card using pop dots and embellishment them a little more with a small pearl.
