New Zva Creative Peeks

Boy, did THAT weekend every fly by quickly.  The past 48 hours ticked with such speed that I still can’t believe it’s Monday already; AGAIN.  Some weeks it’s like a bad rerun of Groundhog Day, except that I don’t wake up to, “I Got You Babe”, by Sony & Cher, only the screeching of that retched alarm clock.  However; CHA is only a couple of weeks away, which gives me the incentive to drag myself into a busy work schedule with no motivation other than to just get the day over with so that I can be one day closer to leaving this frozen tundra for warmer, and hopefully dryer, California weather.

For the past week or so I have been busy making samples for the Zva Creative booth.  This is the first time that I’ve had samples displated at CHA, and I’m nervous but totally excited about the prospect.  As I carefully packed my box of samples over the weekend, I lovingly wrapped each piece in tissue paper hoping that the postal service 1) won’t lose the box, and 2) will be gentle and kind with my babies so they arrive on time and in good condition.  I’m saying a little prayer to Gabriel the Archangel, the Patron saint of Postal Workers for its safe journey. *grin*

So now that it’s the 11th of January, I can begin showing you some of the fun new beauties that Zva Creative will have available for retailers near you.  i {heart} papers is my favorite retailer of Zva Creative products!  But even Kate doesn’t have some of these new items yet.

This wonderful crystal  flourish has very unique reflective properties to it and you really need to see it to fully appreciate it’s chameleon attributes.

On a cardbase of Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock, I created a panel from Basic Grey’s Nook & Pantry 6 X 6 paper pack, also available at i {heart} papers.  I rounded the corners.  The scalloped panel is from another patterned paper from the same pack that I trimmed out with scissors.

Using a sentiment and image from Waltzingmouse Stamp’s Say it With Style, that I stamped in brown ink and wrapped the same 1/4” brown satin ribbon that I used to line my scallop border.

Mindful thought for today:  Kindness is the willingness to be inconvenienced.

Stamps: Say it With Style (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Paper: Pure Luxury Ivory, Nook & Pantry Patterned Paper (Basic Grey)
Ink: Coffee Bean (Vivid)
Accessories: Zva Creative Flourish, Brown Satin 1/4" ribbon from stash, Pop Dots
