Lookie What I Found

It's tough sometimes to keep current on what is going on in the crafting world.  We all know how very quickly companies come and go, what new products will have to be added to our wish lists, and what the hottest trends will be coming.  This is especially difficult for those who work full time with limited time to read forums and blogs.  But this newest find (new for me anyway) is really a breath of fresh air and the most efficient and entertaining way to get the latest scoop.

Those of you who are frequent visitors to Scrapbookupdate.com may already be aware of their affiliation with Paperclipping.com and their weekly podcast Paperclipping Roundtable, available through iTunes.   You can listen to the podcast from their site, but the quality is better if you download the podcast to your iTunes account.  They even have a video tutorial on how to do that, if you need guidance.

Nancy Nally of Scrapbookupdate.com, Ana Cabrera of Scrapbooktrends.com, Noell Hyman and her husband Izzy contribute to this fun, relaxed and informative weekly gabfest of scrapbooking and papercrafting dish.  Think of them as the Perez Hilton of scrapbooking.  They have segments that include reader mail, their weekly product picks and guests who include big names such as Donna Downey and Ali Edwards.  So if you are looking for a fun and easy way to get the scoop, subscribe to their podcast.

Another helpful item that I've recently learned about is a tool on Scrapbook.com called Scrap by Color.  If you have ever labored over which color to use, what paper will go with the colors in a photograph, or card design, this uber useful tool will quickly become your best friend.  Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think.

That's it for this quick post...I'm off to do laundry and start packing for my trip.
