Let’s Party – EAT CAKE!

Hey all - it seems that I have taken a bit of a blogging vacation.  Last time I posted was Monday...and now it’s Thursday and I feel like I have been away forever. Normally, that would drive me crazy - not to be crafting everyday, but I received several new books for Christmas and I've been trying to spend a little time each day reading.  I actually have quite a few books lined up that I want to read.  Most of the time reading gets put at the end of the to-do list, but not this week. It’s been a nice change of pace

For the past few months I’ve been a happy subscriber to Taylored Expressions Key Ingredient (TEKI) Kits.  For me, it’s fun to anticipate and receive a great package of all coordinated papers, cardstock, ribbons and embellishment.  Having everything you need in one box ready to be assembled makes creating a quick process.  The only way Taylor’s kits could make it any more convenient would be if Taylor came along with the kit and did the cards for me. HA!  When all the supplies are used, I still have a great box that can be reused to store cardstock, stamps or other supplies.

Today, I’m participating with a group of talented ladies who all share their love of TEKI kits and we are all using the January kit to create projects for today’s hop.  I chose a birthday theme for my card, but not just any birthday card, but a cupcake birthday card.  Making and sending birthday cards is something I love doing and since tomorrow is actually MY birthday I thought that it was a good time to shout "Let's party - eat cake"!

Eat-Cake
This month, the TEKI Kit contains some great paper from Basic Grey’s Nook & Pantry and Prism cardstock that all blend so well together.  I stamped two sentiments from the Birthday Bash set from Kim Hughes and then stitched a border around the die cut of the cupcake topped with a grunge board heart

Eat-Cak-CUe
My cupcake has a few sprinkles and a smattering of stickles to add to the party atmosphere.  Now if my cupcake card didn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, just check out the rest of the blog hop ladies.

Taylor has a some cool things that we wanted us to share, including the brand new Key Ingredients Website – It’s fun and fresh with loads of inspiration and easy to navigate.  She also has some great deals for a short time such as:

Limited Time Subscription Special:  Purchase (or renew) a 6 month subscription on or before January 17th and receive a FREE Key Ingredients kit upon the completion of your 6 month subscription. This kit (a $23.95 value including shipping) will be an exclusive kit that will never be available in the TE Store!

Increased shipping costs on the products TE receives from manufacturers has forced  an increase the cost of our subscription.  Prices will increase for the TEKI Kits as of January 18th.  New pricing will be $23.95 per month for 6 month subscriptions and $25.95 per month for 3 month subscriptions.  You can beat the price increase if you act now.  If you subscribe or renew  by January 17th you’ll receive the current pricing of $21.95 per month for 6 months or $22.95 per month for 3 months.   You can renew your subscription no matter how many months you have remaining on your current subscription.  Your renewal will simply add 3 or 6 additional months.  Remember you only get the FREE EXCLUSIVE KI with the 6 month option.

That’s it for today…enjoy the hop.  I truly appreciate you visit and your lovely comments.
