Seeing Stars

We humans are a lucky species.  We can feel emotions, like love for instance, in such a profound way that it effects us physically; even to the point of seeing stars.  HA!  Remember when you first fell in love?  Our hearts raced, palms sweat, and cheeks flush all at the sight of the one we loved.  Those first romantic feelings of love are the most intense, and what's more romantic than promising the one you love the stars?


I just adore this sentiment from Unity, Kiss me and you will see stars; love me and I will give them to you.  Well, I can't say that I've ever received stars from a loved one, but they have given me wishes that come true, and isn't that what stars represent to us;  wishing for a dream to come true - the wish that I would be loved - become a member of an extended family - spend my life with someone I call my best friend.  Yes - that for me IS a wish come true.


This card was super simple to create.  I made a polka dot panel for the bottom and combined that with a scallop border which sits behind two layers of Sizzix Top Note die.  I gave it a border of ric rack and a row of sparklie crystals from Zva Creative.  The shooting start is also from Zva and makes a wonderful compliment for this sentiment.
