Gina K Peeks - Day 3 - Sweetest Memories

Hello and Happy Thursday.  Today is the last of the Gina K Design previews.  Thursday (Dec. 3) is the release party which begins at 7:00 PM CST.  We always have such fun at these fast paced events.  It's hard for me to keep up, but I simply jump in where ever I land and always have a good time.  I hope you can join us on Gina's Member's forum on Splitcoaststampers.com

My project today uses Gina's newest One Free with 3 sets, Sweetest Memories.  What a wonderful set to use for sentiments on card or captions on those great scrapbook pages.  Either way for me, it is a set I'm sure I'll reach for time and time again.

                           

I used the sentiment Unforgetable as a reminder to the recipient of how very special they are to me.

On a card base of Fresh Asparagus, I created a panel of green polka dots using another one of Gina's sets, Ribbon Stripes.  I stamped various flowers from the Bug Me Anytime set onto pink and white cardstock.  I cut around the edges of the flowers and added a few leaves stamped onto another new cardstock that Gina is introducing to her line of Pure Luxury, Cream de Menthe, which is a lovely light shade of green. With the addition of some popped up centers and a few pink pearls, the blossoms have more dimension.

To finish the panel, I added a border of light pink cardstock shaped by using the Diamond Lace Border Punch and a touch of ribbon.  The sentiment is backed by two punched pieces that were highlighted with Crystal Stickles.
