The First of it's Kind - Zvalicious

If you have read my blog for any time at all, you're probably already aware of how excited I am to be a part of the Zva Creative Design Team. Today, we are joining together today to share a Christmas or Holiday Tag that we have each created showcasing the beautiful products that Zva has to offer. I am hoping that you will take some time to join us in a little bit of fun!

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog, but you probably already know that if you are here via her link brining you here from her blog. She is linking to me and then I'll be linking to the next and so on. There are 12 design team members, so be prepared to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can. Our team is so wonderfully diverse, so we are hoping that you will discover a talent that you have not been aware of up until now.

What fun these tags are because you can add more and more elements and the only problem is knowing when to stop!  HA!

Using the negative space from chipboard letters, I covered them with patterned paper and backed two of them with red paper to help them stand out.  In the center, I applied a wonderful Zva Creative pearl snowflake to the "O".  To attach this self adhesive snowflake onto an open "O", I removed the backing acetate around the very edges of the piece, but left the center intact so that the center pearls would have support.  I added a little Polar White Flower Soft to parts of the letters to add a little winter fun.

And what winter tag is complete without a snowman?  Using these adorable images from two of Kim's stamp sets, Winter Trees and Heart Warmers, I added this cute little snowman along with a Christmas tree decorated with more Zva Creative pearls...and with a flourish of white pearls, the feel of a cold winter breeze comes from behind these winter iconic images.
