Everything is Beautiful

(Please be patient with me as I play around with text size, etc.  I'm working with a beta version of Office 2010 and things aren't working like I'm accustom, so I need to goof around until I find the method that works best) 


As I typed this title I was reminded of this really old song, Everything is Beautiful...in it's own way, sang by Ray Stevens.  Since the sentiment on my card echoes the same sentiment.  That is the theme of my Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch that Taylor gave us as a starting point for creativity.

From there I used an image and sentiment from the Everything Extraordinary Set by Unity.  I stamped the lamp twice and cut the shade out and popped it up using foam dimension dots.  I added some Geo Shape Sparklers and Zva Creative pearls to simulate a fun vintage lamp in some fun funky green colors.

You can probably tell that this card isn't your standard A2 card, but rather I went with an 8 X 4" card.  They fit into a legal sized envelope with plenty of extra space and don't require additional postage.

I added the Geo Sparklers and the pearls along the bottom of the shade of the lamp that was paper pieced and colored with Copic markers.

To set off the bottom of the card I gather three Zva Creative flowers atop the bow I made using the grosgrain ribbon.
