TESC Brings Me JOY!

Hi all - are YOU as happy as I am that it's Friday? My husband has been off work since Wednesday (insert jealous face here) and I really wish I had every day off that he had, but alas - that's NOT the way it is. Instead I have one more work day before it's "time off for me". The bright spot of my Fridays are the opportunity to play along with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge.

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you using a newer set from Taylored Expressions called Wings of Joy. Using the sketch that Taylor provided, I stamped the image onto white cardstock and colored in the image using Copic Markers. I stamped the little bird again on a piece of scratch cardstock and stuck him on the base image using a tiny pop dot. It's impossible to see, but I colored the "O" with a Spica Glitter Pen, which looks great IRL. The holly sprig that curves along the top of the image is from the Seasonal Grungeboard package. I colored it with green ink and added a touch of stickes for the berries. To finish it off I added a metal swirl and stripped grosgrain.

So are you ready? Want to play along? I hope so...if you do, be sure to visit the Taylored Expressions blog and submit your card to Mr. Linky. Taylor will be choosing her top ten "Top Crops" and feature them on her blog next week. That you be YOUR Crop highlighted on Taylor's blog!! If you are in need of a little inspiration, be sure and stop by the blogs of the Sketch Crew and see their interpretation of this week's sketch.
Have an awesome Friday!
