Hi and thanks for looking in. I have two projects to share with you today; both showcasing brand new set from Gina K Designs to be released this coming Thursday at the release party on Splitcoaststampers.
The first project is a quick little gift idea for a co-worker and perhaps a service person in your life. Using one of the clear boxes from Gina K Designs, I created a six-pack holder for the strawberry tea bags that slid in. To dress up the packaging a little, I created a belly band that slides off.
Using the loop punch, I decorated the corners with doodling dots and crystals.
You can see from this view - the "stadium seating" I created from cardstock, which simply consist of six slits just large enough for the tea bags to slide into. From the back I secured them with a piece of tape. You can't see this from the back of the clear box because I created a backing that also slides into the box. I decorated the upper corner with a combination of ribbons and roses so that even with the belly band removed, it's still pleasant to look at.
My second project is a fun thank you card using Melanie's new set, Tech Talk. It's pretty obvious to me that you like computers yourself otherwise you probably would be on one now reading my blog. I imagine you are like me, and also have people in your life that are just as techy as you, and can so totally relate to all the jargon and iconic images that fill our lives. Melanie's new set has all the wonderful images and sentiments for just about any occasion.
There are some people in your life who you can always count on...in good times and bad, light days and heavy hitting ones; these people are always there. They deserve to know how much your appreciate them!Want to feast your eyes on even more ways to use these fabulous stamp sets? There's no calories in this treat.
