The turkey may be bare bones by now and you may even have moved onto CHRISTMAS mode with your Christmas decorations already up, but just because the Thanksgiving holiday is only a memory, my spirit of thanksgiving continues. I'd like to think that I can keep my attitude of gratitude going all year long. Today, I'm thankful that I have the change to host the Paper Craft Planet's Saturday Sketch Challenge.
My card and this sketch also ties into the thankful theme. I had received a wonderful "thank-you" card from Melanie Muenchinger and loved the design of her card so much that I asked if I could "lift" it and use it for today's sketch challenge.I stamped my Unity Stamp images onto Ivory cardstock using a variety of inks and even embossed one of the acorns. Then I cut the focal image into three equal rectangles and mounted it onto cardstock. My sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Vellum and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
If you are inspired and want to play along using this sketch, I'd be so very pleased. Just post your finished creation in the Paper Craft Planet gallery. Click HERE for instruction on how to add a photo if you are new to PCP.

While I'm not exactly thrilled with the process, I do love the finished results! Have a great day.
