Gina K Previews - Day Two - Vintage Borders

I can't think of a single card that I have made in the last several months that I didn't include a border...either stamped, punched, torn, or even used a ribbon or piece of cardstock, but borders just give cards such a nice flow and form to any design. I was thrilled when I saw the newest set from design, Nina Brackett, Vintage Borders, because it has all the elements that I just love to add to a card or scrapbook page.

For my project today, I used two of the border images as my focal point. I just love these adorable hanging ornaments and combining it with a flourish as an anchoring point for the ornaments. But don't be fooled; there are many images in this set that work just as well for any occasion in addition to the holidays. I'm sure you will agree when you see the entire set after Gina K's release party this Thursday on Splitcoaststampers.com

Several of this month's Center Stage Spotlight Designers are joining the Senior Design Team and showing their project made with the sets previewed today. Here are their blog links: Be sure to stop by and show them some love.

Again - mark your calendar for the release party on Thursday night on the SCS in Gina K's Forum from 7-10 pm CST. It would just make my day to have you join in the fun! There will be contest questions, challenges, chatter, and lots more samples from our designers throughout the party! See you then!

Tip of the day: Borders can be used for more than just lining a card front. Discover how many ways you can use a border to create a focal image or to frame a focal image.

I appreciate you stopping by today!
