Hi - I'm happy to have you visit today because I want to share a fun set that will really make it easy to complete those holiday cards. This set, created by Melanie Muenchinger, works so well for Christmas, a warm winter greeting, or a frame for a holiday photo on a scrapbook page or home decor element. Whatever way you choose to use it, you can't go wrong with this seasonal set. Melanie's newest set will be available right after the Gina K Designs release party this coming Thursday from 7 - 10 pm in the GKD member's forum on Splitcoaststampers.com..
For my project today I chose a card.
I first heat embossed the main images from Festive Frame using VersaMark and Detailed Embossing Powder. Using my craft knife I cut the center section out and adhered it onto a smaller piece of Good as Gold cardstock that I had diamond scored with my Scor-Pal. These were all "popped" up using mini pop dots.My sentiment was also heat embossed and popped into the center of the cut out. I added some of Gina's Spruce Organdy ribbon topped off with a chipboard snowflake that I added Gold glitter all topped with a green crystal from my stash, for a dramatic shine!
