This card is truly a work of paper crafting. I say this because most of this scene is created by fashioning pieces of paper into a picture - a scene that expresses the sentiment not only by the words on the project, but the images placed on a blank cardstock base.
Using Some of the yummy textured Ruche paper, I tore the green and then layered then to create a ground for my scene and then inserted a few punched flowers from yellow and blue pop-tone cardstock colors.
For my branch I free-handed the drawing in pencil and then cut it out with scissors - adding a few stamped leaves, I popping them up with mini pop dots. I stamped the leaves, birds and birdhouse and cut them out. I gave the background, behind the birds, a spritz of color with my airbrush and added a few clouds which I added white fun flock to add to the whimsy feel of the project. The paper is what makes this project. It gives it life and dimension.
Thanks for looking in today.
