Happy Thursday to you all. I have another recessed window to share with you today. I first created one of these cards back in February when I was inspired when I saw THIS card in the gallery on Splitcoaststampers.com. After a little tweaking, I came up with a design that worked great with a 5-1/4" square card. I love the larger sized cards because it give you a larger palette with which to stamp and embellish.
I was thrilled when Beate asked me to do a tutorial for The Weekly Inkling. You can find the tutorial HERE. Beate even created a video tutorial of the process, so check out the tutorial and scroll down toward the bottom where the video can be viewed. When I was working on my sample for the tutorial, I wanted to use a newer set, Bug Me Anytime, by Gina K Design because I just love the encouragement of "hang in there" because there are always times when we need to be reminded that while it may be rough going at the moment, if you just hang in there, things will improve.
The digital paper I used, Bug Me Anytime Bright papers are a great compliment to this set, and were made specifically to coordinate with the adorable images in this set.
I hope that you will try one of these fun recessed window cards. If you need a little more inspirations, you can check out the gallery on Splitcoaststampers.com. Have a great day!
