Back to it...

Vacation is officially over and it's time to get back to work and to a regular posting schedule. I had an awesome time while attending CHA; created some great memories and have confirmed, once again, that my on-line crafting friends are the most awesome friends anywhere.

One of the great highlights of attending CHA this time was getting to spend time with some of my fellow members of the i {heart} papers' design team. Meeting these talented ladies in person was such a treat, and tons of laughs!

The project that I'd like to share with you today is made with some great supplies from i {heart} papers. (just wait until you see some of the awesome stuff coming soon to IHP, which Kate bought while at CHA...you're going to be so excited!).

The designer paper I used is a great patterned called Bee Balm - one of Webster's Pages. I love the rich tones and beautiful foliage. I almost hated to cover it up with my main image...speaking of that, I created a blossom from some of the awesome Zva Creative crystals for my stem, topped with some prima flowers and adorned with a few buttons. I used some Scrapbooking Floss threaded through my buttons. All I had was white, but that was easily remedied by coloring it with my Copic markers. The ribbon is white satin by May Arts again, colored with my Copic markers to match my desired shade.

I was happy to use my Tim Holtz mask to create an interesting panel which is behind my main image. (click on the picture for a closer look).

So with my vacation time behind me, and a new week and month (how in the world is it August already?) ahead, I'm happy to be back in the swing of things. Have a fantastic day.

{Supplies}
Stamps: Music (Stamp Oasis-Rubbernecker), Sentiment (Inkadinkado)
Paper: Bashful Blue, Bee Balm (Webster's Pages) Vellum (Club Scrap)
Ink: Adirondack Latte
Accessories: Zva Creative, Floret Mini Mask (Tim Holtz), Primas, Buttons, Scrapbook Floss, Satin Ribbon (May Arts), Mini Pop Dots, Embossed Scallop Punch
