Hello lovely people. I'm happy you could stop by today. It's my pleasure to share today's sample card for the Try a New Technique Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com. It's called Faux Grid and it's one of the simplest techniques to accomplish, but can really add interest to any focal point you have, especially with smaller images.
This technique is not really "new", and I had forgotten all about it until I saw this post on Dawn Griffith's blog. Thanks Dawn for the reminder of this fun technique. The grids on my card are spaced at 1/4", but you can space yours an any interval that suits you or your images. That's the beauty...it's totally up to you and the look you're going for.
I hope that you will pop on over to Splitcoaststampers.com where you will find instructions and lots of inspiration.
