Shining Star - That's What you Are

Hey everyone! Each month on Paper Craft Planet, the Design Team selects a theme in which to focus our efforts. This month, we decided that when we thought of the month of July, the thing that came to mind was Red, White & Blue...the colors of ole Glory. That was the basis of this card.
Along with the patriotic colors associated with our nation's flag, my mind is drawn to stars. It could be that stars and stripes (or in this case polka dots) just go together.

With a card base of white, I stamped polka dots using white Craft Ink onto blue cardstock and then stamped three adorably smiling happy stars from Molly Stamps' Out of this World onto white cardstock using blue ink and then went over each star with a clear Spica glitter pen. (impossible to see, but it's there...lol).

There are many people in my life who I consider to be a shining star. They are people who bring laughter and joy to me and my sometimes trying existence. I know you must have people like that in your life...they are those who make our life a real blessing.

One blessing I have is your visit to my blog. Thanks for being my "shining star" today! Be sure to check back later tonight for some exciting news for a "lucky" opportunity.
