Relax

I can't believe that I've neglected to post this project on my blog. I made this card weeks and weeks ago for a sketch challenge on Stamp TV and I guess I've just had other projects to post and nearly forgot about this card.

Acetate is such a great element to use for cardmaking. I love the clear view that it adds to a project. For this card I adhered a panel of acetate that I had stamped with white Stazon ink onto the front of my cardbase. From there I stamped three images from Perfectly Polished, a set designed by Rupa Shevde, and applies those to mats. I used a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to shad the images, and even added a little white flock to the dressing gown in the center.

I'd like to welcome the new Center Stage Spotlight Team for July. What a great group of creative ladies. Be sure to check out the work of Brenda Turner, Dawn Lusk, JenMarie Taylor, Shannon Bracken, Sue Morris, and Sue Walsh. Welcome ladies!

Today is my Friday since I'm off work on Friday in observance of Independence Day. Yippee skippy - a 3 day weekend. It doesn't get much better than that. I appreciate you stopping by today and I hope that you find a little time today to "relax". Until next time, have an awesome day.
