Oh My Grafico! - It's a bloomin' Garden

What a great day! The Paper Craft Planet Design Team is offering a fun challenge for you today sponsored by MyGrafico. To play along, create anything using one of the MyGrafico images -- they have a ton to choose from, but if you're trying to cut costs, here's a link to some free images. Just post your project in the Paper Craft Planet photo gallery, and use the tag "PCPgrafico". (Here is a tutorial on adding pictures to the gallery, if you need it.) MyGrafico has generously offered a $10 gift certificate to the store to one lucky challenge player.

The nice thing about using digital images is that you can arrange them, resize them, and there's no pesky masking involved. :) I used the png files and arranged my scene in photoshop, along with adding the sentiment.

I colored my images with Copic marker and after I colored in the background, I wasn't really happy with the way it looked, so I got out my colorless blending solution refill, and using a tiny cotton ball that I soaked in the solution and gave the background a splotchy look. I'm actually pleased with the funky look.

You don't need photo software programs to work with digital images...all you need is a printer - just open and print the images. If you do have photo editing software, My Grafico images come in both jpg and png files. With a click of the mouse you can resize any image to suit your needs. Another advantage to digital images is that they last forever and take up NO precious storage space. There are several great video tutorials on Paper Craft Planet if you need a little guidance on working with digital images.
