It's always a happy day on Friday. It's also another jean's day at work. Apparently our floor of the building achieved the greatest amount of recycling so we are rewarded with the privilege of wearing jeans to work! YIPPEE! I just adore jeans day. It makes getting ready for work so easy. I normally fret each day over what to wear, but with jeans, I only have to think about being comfortable! Ah, the simple pleasures in life that make me happy.
Another thing that makes me happy is when I discover that something will turn out the way I hoped it would. This card started out as an experiment of sorts. I got this awesome Ruche paper from Paper Temptress. I love the awesome texture in this cardstock, but wasn't sure how it rub-ons would take to it. I had a bunch of these rub-ons that are just hanging around and wanted to use a few of them up, so I thought I'd give it a try with this heavily textured paper. As you can see, it worked perfectly. No missed spots, or problems adhering the rub-ons onto the cardstock. As you will note, there is only a minimal amount of stamping on this project, but that's ok...I can stamp anytime, but it's not everyday that I have a project where I can use rub-on's. It will be years before I use up all the rub-ons that I have, and by that time, they will be so far out of style it won't matter...lol
Have an awesomely fantastic Friday!
